It had stood proudly on the land for centuries, enduring the relentless storms and parched heat, but now, as the chainsaw clawed violently through its woody flesh, it bled sticky, amber tears onto the monstrous blade.


In its last act, the unyielding oak fell as gracefully as it had lived.
